My Actual Graphic Proposal

For my new proposal, I wish to make a pop up book that revels my love of Elves.  It will feature pages that are earthy in colour, utilising red, oches, greens and browns to signify the significance of the natural environment to the Elves.  On the first page there will be an elf in a boat with fish swimming around it. Next there will be a leaf book with poems in. The authors of the poems will be in elfish. Behind will be a tree with leaves fluttering around it. Next I will have a sword with a diamond popping out. For my end pages I will have swords,bows and quiver.

Feedback from the group.

When I presented my idea to the group, they thought that it was nice and simple.  They loved the idea of the different parts of Elf life being presented in one book. They thought that it could do with a little bit of a narrative but thought that the overall impression would carry the idea over. The original drawings that the group saw that I had completed went down well aswell.

Investing The Suitability Of Different Type Faces 

We have been investigating suitable type faces for our book

I would choose the text used for The Big Book of Fairies for Girls. My book is going to be about elves and this font reminds me about  the treesswaying in the wind.
